If you are between the ages of 17 and 30, and are a citizen of one of the following countries, you may visit the United Kingdom and work while you are there. There are a few other minor rules, but basically this gives you a way to make some money while you visit Great Britain. If you like the country, you can return to your home country and apply for a different kind of visa (depending on your circumstances) and then move there permanently.
